Aim

I’m so thankful for my second chance of life after a liver transplant. I want to help raise essential funds for the British Liver Trust.

In 2024 I was diagnosed with an autoimmune liver disease called primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). The condition started to worsen and late last year I had to have a liver transplant. I am so grateful to my donor for my second chance at life. I had incredible support and treatment at the Royal Free Hospital and help and guidance from the fantastic charity the British Liver Trust.
I am raising funds for the charity as the work they do supports so many people young and old who have liver disease. As many of you that know me I am not sporty in any way and always been a bit chunky 😊 by taking part in the Transplant Games in August (in Sheffield) I will be undertaking a number of events including running, javelin and discus. I am definitely going out of my comfort zone and training as hard as I can. Please support if you can any donation would be so well received. Thank you
