At Sean’s Place, we are on a mission to prevent suicide and improve the mental health and wellbeing of over 2000 men every year.
We are taking on an unforgettable abseil from the top of Anfield to raise vital funds for Sean’s Place, a charity created in memory of Sean, who tragically lost his life to suicide. Since opening in 2020, Sean’s Place has supported more than 5,000 men and their families.
Sean’s Place provides free and immediate access to counselling, bereavement support, suicide prevention interventions, trauma therapy and CBT. It also offers a wide range of social and wellbeing activities, including walking, cycling, mindfulness, peer support, music, games, fitness, cookery and much more, helping men build confidence, friendships and hope for the future.
With annual running costs of more than £400,000, Sean’s Place relies heavily on the generosity of the community to continue providing this life-saving support.
We have also launched The Nest, supporting young men aged 15 and over so they can access help at the earliest possible opportunity.
