I am raising funds for my political campaign to gain the seat of Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley in the upcoming Scottish Elections.
My name is Sean Davis. Over the years I have been a member of two political parties, but through that experience I came to a simple realisation: too often political parties are bound by their own rules and agendas, and their representatives are not always able to truly speak with their own voice.
That never sat right with me.
I believe politics should be about standing up for people, speaking honestly, and delivering real change. That’s why, in this upcoming election, I have decided to stand as an independent candidate for Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley.
Having grown up in this area, I understand the challenges our communities face. I know what people are asking for: someone who will listen, someone who will stand up for them, and someone who will deliver — not just make promises that never become reality.
I’m not a career politician. I’ve turned down opportunities to follow the traditional political path because they didn’t align with my values. First and foremost, I am a father, a husband, and someone living with a disability. I understand the real pressures families face because I live them too.
Standing as an independent means taking on large political parties with their funding, campaign teams and resources. It’s a steep hill to climb — but it’s a challenge I’m willing to take on for our communities. However, I can’t do it alone.
With the election fast approaching, time is short. Our towns and villages need change now more than ever. The cost of living is rising, fuel prices are increasing, and too many families are being forced to make impossible choices between heating their homes or feeding their families.
Our communities deserve better.
If you believe in having a genuine independent voice representing Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley — someone who will show up for the community every day, not just for photo opportunities — then I ask for your support.
Your donation, no matter how small, will help fund this campaign and allow us to reach more people across our towns and villages.
Together, we can challenge the politics of empty promises and build something better for our communities.
If you want a strong, independent voice speaking for you, then stand with me.
Help give Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley the voice it deserves.
Thank you for your support.
