Aim

We want to invite local groups, schools, local businesses to join us on board the SeaCycler to work together to clear Bristol's harbour.

We love Bristol! We HATE litter!

We want to help clear beautiful Bristol harbour of litter that blows into the water from being dropped in the street. A staggering 11,300 bags of litter is dropped every single year on just one street in Bristol and on a windy, rainy day that can make its way into the harbour, damaging wildlife and heading out to the Bristol channel.

We want to turn that tide and prevent marine litter!

So, piece by piece we will remove litter from the water aboard our SeaCycler, our very own plastic litter fishing boat made from 99% recycled single-use plastic.

We are Sustainable Hive and  we’re specialists in sustainability, experienced experts in green education and engagement. Here to connect people to create action, by bridging the gaps between schools and communities, and businesses and organisations.

We want to spark imaginations and start conversations. Channelling natural curiosity, harnessing that incredible energy. Making sustainability real and relevant to our young people. Recognising and valuing the contribution they will make.

We want as many groups to join us aboard the SeaCycler as possible; school groups, businesses, community groups, individuals. Please help support us to work together to protect our oceans, keep Bristol Harbour beautiful, and save wildlife aboard the good ship SeaCycler as often as possible.

Money raised will contribute towards boat running costs, paying for a skipper and litter picking equipment.
