We did it!
Thanks for coming!
And.. now can you help with THREE wee things:
1. FEEDBACK
It's a free festival, friends - there's no way we can keep doing this stuff unless we get your engagement! It's only 9 very short questions:

2. PHOTO COMPETITION
And we'll be judging the photo comp in the next couple of days. So if you took a good one please do share it with #searisingfestival on social media channels and you’ll be in with a chance to win a Sea Rising Festival t-Shirt!
3. FUNDING
This Crowdfunder is nearly there. If you had a lovely time please support it. If everyone just gave £3 it would cover costs, and more would really help. We’re dipping into reserves to cover costs. Only 2 days left to go, and every pound really helps! 🙏😘

———
On the 22nd June 2024 Porty Community Energy a free music and environment festival on the promenade and beach in Portobello, Edinburgh (near the bottom of King's Road) between 1-6pm.
With the festival we hoped to highlight one of the immediate impacts of climate change for our coastal community, the rising sea.
We chose this day as it is midsummer and a full moon, and are expecting a high spring tide...
You can join us at the selkies sea stage, to listen to the music with the waves lapping at your ankles, to be part of a chorus of voices, and dance in the water.
On dry land there will be the landlubbers stage, where you can join in a ceilidh. Visit markets and workshops, and try out different bikes.
The Sea Rising Festival sounds amazing doesn't it?
With your help we can make it even better!
Via this Crowdfunder you can preorder Sea Rising Festival t-shirts and prints designed by local artist KMG, and other goodies
Your support will help the running of the festival, largely done by volunteers, and allow us to include additional artists, workshops, and publicity.
