Aim

We need to be greener and have identified that we can substitute renewable power for fossil-fuel originated electricty.

Hove Sea Cadets are a 48-strong Sea Cadet and Royal Marines Cadet unit based in Hove. Our Cadets come from East and West Sussex as well as the City of Brighton & Hove.

We aim to help young people aged between 10-18 from all backgrounds to achieve in education, employment and in longer-term mental and physical wellbeing as well as community engagement.

We give young people ‘adventure that launches young people for life today’, with the aim of helping teenagers ‘develop into resilient, confident young people who can launch well in today’s complex and sometimes overwhelming world and thrive in it.’.

We are a self-supporting, local youth organisation and an independent charity in our own right and are affiliated to the Marine Society and Sea Cadets (MSSC) – our national body. We are managed by a Unit Management Team (UMT - the Unit charity trustees) as well as instructional staff for the Cadets.
