Scunthorpe First Baby Rainbow Memorial Garden🌈

Aim

I'm running Big Green 10k on 17/5/26 fundraising for Scunthorpes 1st Baby Rainbow Memorial Garden🌈

• On 10/4/22 Scunthorpes First Baby Rainbow Memorial Garden was opened in memory of "Rory" Donna and Andrew Cliffords baby after he fell asleep 2/11/19 only 9 days old.

Donna & Andy wanted a place to remember Rory and for others who have also been through this unimaginable loss. Giving them a safe place to mourn, reflect and talk with others. Remember their "Angel Babies" on the hard days & milestones through the years with family and friends. They Created the "garden" a place with colorful rainbows significant to their memory of Rory and the halo with memorial plaques for all Angel babies.

Its a place of beauty and remembrance, it does need regular maintenance and relies heavily on volunteers to keep it going. Its a joyous place to visit in our towns Central Park and is a comfort to those who need that space to visit -  it would be great to keep it there for many years to come.
