Scottish Borders Pride 2026

Aim
To raise funds for the very first Scottish Borders Pride.
29th August 2026 will mark the very first Scottish Borders Pride. This will be an inclusive, family-friendly event that brings together the LGBTQIA+ community from across the Scottish Borders.
This event is free to attend and proudly community-funded and community-run. No corporate sponsors or affiliations - just a space for us to come together and create something special.
This year's event is taking place in Galashiels. We will start with a march beginning at Albert Place, along the high street and ending at the town's historic Volunteer Hall.
Once we've arrived, we have an afternoon of entertainment planned from a diverse selection of performers, including a drag act, the town band and much more. There will also be a wide selection of stalls and activities from community groups and local businesses.
All the money raised will go to making this event a success: from paying our performers, to advertising and making sure the event is safe and well managed.
