We are raising £25K in 25 days to build a virtual campus to connect you with thought-leaders, activists and inspirational teachers.

We are raising £25K in 25 days to build a virtual campus (SINC) that will give you 24-hour access to thought-leaders, activists and inspirational teachers. You will also have access to a large online database stocked with inspirational videos, lectures and other resources from our global Network For Change. And you will be able to connect with Schumacher College change makers across the globe via expert discussions and group chats.
People from all over the world, of all ages and backgrounds, have been informed, inspired and encouraged to act, by our 25 years of transformative courses for sustainable living. We bring together the leading thinkers, activists and practitioners internationally, to provide students with the practical skills and strategic thinking required to face the ecological, economic and social challenges of the 21st Century.
What will your money help us do?
SINC is key part of Schumacher Worldwide, managed by Julie Richardson, which focuses on seeding educational programmes that will help to grow a mass global movement for sustainable change. Our aims are to:
Increase access to Schumacher College teachings for sustainable living by offering affordable and flexible international learning programmes
Put teachings into practice by demonstrating ecological approaches in the local context
Empower Schumacher College alumni and the wider network of members to become teachers, tutors, facilitators and the next generation leaders in the field of value based sustainable living
Contribute to the financial sustainability of Schumacher College by creating a learning platform that is independent of our current physical capacity constraints (residential and teaching facilities)
With your support, we will create this Network for Change so that we can all keep in SINC and make a real difference.
“There is an urgent need to connect - together we can be part of the change”
Jon Rae, Head of Schumacher College
