On June 5, Scarlets staff members will be attempting to complete the Welsh Three Peaks challenge, climbing the mountains of Yr Wyddfa, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan in a day to raise funds for the Scarlets Community Foundation.
The Foundation, officially launched in 2020, covers Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion to not only help rugby development and participation in the region, but also promote health and wellbeing, social inclusion, education and provide charitable support.
Throughout the year, the Foundation works closely with the region’s three unitary authorities, as well as other organisations, charities and businesses on a variety of projects to promote and engage with the communities of West and Mid Wales.
From delivering rugby sessions to schools, sports camps in underprivileged areas to weekly Sporting Memories social clubs, the Foundation is looking to grow its reach and its impact in our communities, and all monies from the Scarlets Three Peaks Challenge will go towards this amazing work.

Lansiwyd y Sefydliad yn swyddogol yn 2020 yn Sir Gaerfyrddin, Sir Benfro a Cheredigion i nid yn unig helpu datblygiad a chyfranogiad rygbi o fewn y rhanbarth, ond hefyd i hybu iechyd a lles, cynhwysiant cymdeithasol, addysg a chynnig cefnogaeth elusennol.
Trwy gydol y flwyddyn mae’r Sefydliad yn gweithio’n agos gyda’r tri awdurdod unedol, yn ogystal â sefydliadau, elusennau a busnesau ar brosiectau amrywiol i hybu ac ymgysylltu gyda chymunedau yn y Gorllewin a’r Canolbarth.
O ddarparu sesiynau rygbi i ysgolion, gwersylloedd chwaraeon i ardaloedd difreintiedig a chynnal cyfarfodydd wythnosol yn ein Grŵp Atgofion Chwaraeon, mae’r sefydliad yn chwilio i gynyddu eu heffaith o fewn ein cymunedau, a bydd holl arian Her Tri Chopa'r Scarlets yn mynd tuag at y gwaith anhygoel yma.
