26th November 20201st Stretch Target Reached and Next Aims Announced!
Thank you so much for all the support during this crazy year, it is extremely humbling to have reached our initial target during lockdown 1 and now to have reached our first ‘stretch’ target during yet another lockdown... we really could not have done this without your support, so thank you again!
You have all been extremely generous during this tough year and do not expect you to help out anymore, but we are now looking to go for our next stretch target to buy a great little workboat to help us with the Aquaculture Research Site (as seen in photo) and also to retain juvenile native oysters while the pandemic has forced many boats to remain on the moorings, Brexit isn’t going to help either as exporting looks unlikely!
We have personally contributed several thousand juvenile native oysters to the nursery area and your donations have helped purchase the mature genetically strong brood stock for next summers hatchery program...
