8th July 2020Full Moon Larvae
We are so pleased to announce, that just before the full moon on the 5th July, we witnessed our first ‘liberation’ from the female native oysters and we have successfully hatched our first ‘larvae population’ from the micro hatchery that you all helped us to fund and build! Thank you!

Now the really hard part is to improve the survival rate that occurs in the wild and keep as many alive as possible!
We are also preparing for our second population hatch ahead of the next new moon on 20th July and the occupation of the Aquaculture Research Site from 1st of August, so please share this project as we really need support for the infrastructure (moorings, ropes & buoys)
