SavingESTER Pt1: The Pearl of Crowdfunder Projects

We did it once for the hatchery and now we need to do it again for the Aquaculture Site...

Please visit and subscribe to our YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=fal+fishery+cooperative where you can see the site in the earliest short film (please note the mussel farm surface line in the film we be moved before we install the first of our own three surface lines)

We are looking to raise £10,516 + VAT for the following:

£2,000 deposit (we had to use the funds raised in phase 1 for new hatchery electrics and other equipment)

£2,000 + VAT for 3 x £500 moorings using EcoCrete and £500 for the chain to the surface

£350 + VAT for the one day installation of moorings, we will be installing everything else ourselves to keep costs down

£550 + VAT for the first surface line

£716 + VAT for the 50 storage lines to suspend the trays from, please note we have already secured over two thousand used storage trays thanks to the National Lobster Hatchery

£1,300 + VAT for the 100 thimbles @ £5, 100 stainless links @ £6 and £200 for the hand splicing

£3,600 + VAT for 50 surface buoys @ £72 each, we were thinking if you can donate £72 or more we will put your name on the buoys to publicly show your support for the project!

Please donate anything you can spare as every £1 really does help, we raised £9,210 for the hatchery and now we really need to raise the funds for the first nursery string, as we only have 4-6 weeks before we must move the stock from the hatchery to the new King Harry Aquaculture Site

Note: we can reclaim the VAT on expenditure

Take care, stay safe and thank you for supporting and donating if you can or just sharing project this if you cannot.
