31st December 2024Fencing off of tree staved off
Thank you to all who have donated to cover solicitor fees in support of the tree/s so far!
On 31st December campaigners were at the tree when contractors attempted to put a double layer of fencing around it to 'protect' it. Following a conversation with campaigners, contractors removed all fencing from the area and left.
We still await the update promised by Leeds City Council on 19th December promising details of next steps and timeline for the tree felling etc.
