Slay Glasgow is part of a national initiative launched by Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues.
Your donations will be used to allow the venue to open after the lock down.
Although the government have offered grants and funding to support businesses, Due to not being rated by the valuation office we have been unsuccessful in obtaining this via Glasgow City Council and there are many costs involved in keeping the doors closed and the venue safe for the future with no income outside of this support!
If you could spare some of the money that you'd have spent on beer or tickets, that would go so far in ensuring that we can get through the most difficult period live music venues have ever faced.
If we hit our target, and we can prevent the closure of our venue, everything above the amount we need will be donated to the Music Venue Trust GMV Crisis Fund to protect other venues just like ours, right across the country.
We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see our Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
