We're still collecting donations
On the 1st December 2020 we'd raised £7,691 with 267 supporters in 219 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We’re part of a national initiative launched by the Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of 100s of independent music venues. Please support our campaign.

On the 1st December 2020 we'd raised £7,691 with 267 supporters in 219 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Komedia is part of a national initiative launched by Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues.
Our Venue
Our venue faces a difficult time ahead because we have closed the doors for the foreseeable future due to the current pandemic. Our income streams have been reduced to next to nothing and on top of this for each show that is either re-scheduled or cancelled we face the daunting task of refunding tickets.
Your Donation
As a huge part of Brighton's night-time offering we want to give our venue the best chance of returning when restrictions are removed and your donations will be used to pay essential bills such as insurance, outstanding supplier invoices and artists/promoter settlements.
Beyond This
If we hit our target, and we can prevent the closure of our venue, everything above the amount we need will be donated to the Music Venue Trust GMV Crisis Fund to protect other venues just like ours, right across the country.
We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see our Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
