Queen of the South is under threat. Help us save our pub—donate now before we lose it for good.

Queen of the South isn’t just a pub. It’s a community. Since opening, we’ve built a welcoming, independent space where people from all walks of life come together for music, food, events, and connection.

Now, that’s under threat.

Recently, the freehold for the building bought without our knowledge or consultation to a large, multi-million-pound pub group. They’ve given us an ultimatum: buy it back within a tight deadline, or risk losing Queen forever. As an independent team, we simply don’t have the resources to compete with corporate buyers — not without help.

This isn’t just about saving a pub. It’s about protecting a vital, inclusive space that belongs to the community.

We recently posted on our social media about this, and the response was overwhelming. We have decided to set up this Crowdfund to allow people to contribute in any way they can. 

If Queen has ever meant something to you, or if you believe in keeping local venues alive, please consider donating. Every pound helps us keep the doors open.

All contributions will go towards keeping us running, from legal fees towards purchasing the freehold, staff wages and refurbishing the pub's rooftop to create a one of its kind bar.
