We're still collecting donations

On the 1st December 2020 we'd raised £20 with 1 supporters in 200 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

Mae Neuadd Ogwen yn rhan o fenter genedlaethol a lansiwyd gan "Music Venue Trust" i atal cannoedd o leoliadau cerddoriaeth annibynnol rhag cau.

Heb gyllid ychwanegol mae ein lleoliad yn wynebu cau gan na fyddwn yn gallu cynnal y lleoliad ac ailagor unwaith y bydd yn ddiogel i wneud hynny. Mae Covid-19 wedi arwain at gau'r Neuadd am 6 wythnos hyd yn hyn ond mae'n debygol mai lleoliadau cerddoriaeth fydd y rhai olaf i ailagor pan fydd y mesuriadau "lockdown" yn cael eu codi. Dros y blynyddoedd mae Neuadd Ogwen wedi cefnogi miloedd o artistiaid cerddorol, wedi dangos ffilmiau a chynyrchiadau theatr diri ac wedi cyflogi nifer fawr o bobl leol.

Bydd eich rhoddion yn cael eu defnyddio i gynnal yr adeilad a thalu costau parhaus tra byddwn yn methu agor ein drysau. Er bod y lleoliad ar gau rydym yn bwriadu cynnal nifer o weithgaredd celfyddydol dros y wê er mwyn gallu cefnogi artistiaid hunangyflogedig sy'n cael trafferth ariannol oherwydd y sefyllfa bresennol.

Os ydym yn cyrraedd ein targed, a gallwn atal cau ein lleoliad, bydd popeth uwchlaw'r swm sydd ei angen arnom yn cael ei roi i gronfa argyfwng GMV yr "Music Venue Trust" i amddiffyn lleoliadau eraill yn union fel ein un ni, ar draws Cymru a Phrydain gyfan.

Neuadd Ogwen is part of a national initiative launched by Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues.

Without additional funding our location faces closure as we will not be able to maintain the venue and reopen once it is safe to do so.

Covid-19 has resulted in the hall being closed for 6 weeks to date but it is likely that music venues will be the last to reopen when the lockdown measures are lifted.

Over the years Neuadd Ogwen has supported thousands of musical artists, shown films and theater theatre productions and has employed a large number of local people.

Your gifts will be used to maintain the building and pay ongoing costs while we are unable to open our doors. We have had some funding from the government to support our staff in the short term, but we do not know how long this will last, and we certainly want to look after them in the long term.

Although the venue is closed we intend to undertake a number of arts activities over the web to support self employed artists who are struggling financially due to the current situation.

If we meet our target, and we can prevent the closure of our location, everything over and above the amount we need will be put into the GMV crisis fund the Music Venue Trust to protect other venues just like ours, across Wales and the whole of Britain.

We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see our Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
