#SaveOurVenues - IKLECTIK

IKLECTIK is part of a national initiative launched by Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues. 

IKLECTIK is one of the few venues in London that have been constantly organising and producing events to support music and art forms that would be otherwise unrepresented. Since we opened in 2014, we have hosted and curated more than 1000 events, including live concerts, festivals, workshops and talks.

Our venue faces closure because we can only survive with the income generated by the activities that take place in our space. 

Your donations will be used to cover some of the emergency operational costs such rent, utilities and admin expenses. It will give us time and tools to develop new business strategies for the next months and help us to adapt our organisation to the new cultural and social reality. It will allow us to continue our work within our community and reinforce partnerships with other cultural organisations. 

In the meantime, IKLECTIK has developed a new platform to support the arts community. Our aim is to make more visible the work of musicians, artists, researchers and makers during these difficult times. The platform features live streamings, A/V works, R+D projects, interviews, podcasts and reading recommendations on music, art and critical thinking. Please, visit www.iklectikoffsite.org

If we hit our target, and we can prevent the closure of our venue, everything above the amount we need will be donated to the Music Venue Trust GMV Crisis Fund to protect other venues just like ours, right across the country.
