We're still collecting donations
On the 10th September 2020 we'd raised £27,551 with 492 supporters in 117 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 10th September 2020 we'd raised £27,551 with 492 supporters in 117 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Green Note is part of a national initiative launched by Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues.
Due to the Covid-19 crisis, the doors of our much-loved venue have been closed since mid-March, and we do not yet know when nor under what circumstances we'll be able to re-open.
Your donations via this campaign will be used to contribute to our running costs during this difficult time, as well as allowing us to develop our online offering as a means of adapting to this new and unprecedented turn of events. It is becoming increasingly clear that, even when lockdown is lifted, it will take quite some time for us to be able to open fully and operate at a level that will meet our monthly outgoings over the coming year.
We would like to continuing developing online gigs while lockdown continues, but also to invest in equipment so that we can have a vibrant online streaming mechanism once we are back at the venue. This will help us generate income over the long term, also for the musicians who play at our venue, and hopefully contribute to making our business more sustainable while it recovers from these huge and unexpected setbacks. Investing in live-streaming our gigs, will also allow us to continue to bring live music to some of our older/more vulnerable patrons, who may find it more challenging to continue to visit venues and other crowded places, even once restrictions are lifted.
If we hit our stretch target, and we can prevent the closure of our venue, everything above the amount we need will be donated to the Music Venue Trust GMV Crisis Fund to protect other venues just like ours, right across the country.
We are so grateful for your time, your support and your donations. Also to the artists, who give their time and talent - without you, we couldn't do what we do! Grassroots music venues are such an important part of our cultural landscape. We are determined to survive this, and are grateful to The Music Venues Trust for their hard work, in connecting venues like ours across the country, so that we can work together in supporting each other.
Look forward to seeing you when we're out the other side!
Immy & Risa xx
