My friend Sophie has two beautiful baby Khao manee kittens which she has had for just 5 months. Miku, the girl, has had a very difficult start to life, being very unwell from the get go and Sophie has been placed in a very difficult position today after speaking with the vets, a position which she is unable to fund alone. She has just 24 hours to raise the funds for Miku's treatment or she will lose her kitten.
Miku has Cat Flu and Genji fever which have just been diagnosed at the vets after weeks of her being kept in by them trying to nurse her back to health. There is a treatment option but it comes with a cost.

If untreated, baby Miku will get worse and sadly need to be put down. At her worst her eyes were ulcerated and closed and she was gasping for breath. She will inevitably go back to this if she is left untreated. The only other option which would eliminate her being in pain and also eliminate the need for her to be put down is for her to get treatment which costs £400.
Sophie is not able to fund this alone. The vets have now asked for her to sign baby Miku over to them so a charity can fund the kitten's treatment and then they will take her into possession.
If Sophie cannot raise the £400 in 24 hours she will lose her kitten.
She hates asking for ANYTHING so she will be mad at me for doing this but if you have a spare couple of pounds to help save Miku, she would be eternally grateful.
Any extra donations surplus to the £400 target will be donated to PDSA charity.
Thank you so much in advance for any help you can give.
