Save The Onward Hall

Aim
To renovate and bring up to date, one of the last remaining iron clad buildings in The Forest of Dean for the local community.
A traditional British Brass Band, Forest of Dean Brass are the current custodians of The Onward Hall. This beautiful iron clad building is one of the last surviving buildings of its kind. These structures were once commonplace in the Forest of Dean and it is vital that this important piece of local heritage is renovated and brought up to date so that it can be fully enjoyed and used by groups and the local community.Work has already begun and a new roof was installed in 2025. The next stage is the exterior sides and adding an additional accessible entrance.
once the exterior is complete, we move to the interior, to insulate, renovate the board cladding and replace the floor. Add a new kitchen and accessible toilets.
