Highlighting the imminent dangers to the NHS, raising public awareness, and defending our wonderful doctors and nurses
There are many imminent threats to the NHS, and it's up to us to defend it. Money raised will go towards posters and other advertising to highlight these issues, and encourage people to write to their MPs asking them to work together to Save The NHS.
We have a staffing crisis, with 107,000 healthcare vacancies and 41,000 vacant nursing positions. This is exacerbated by a less welcoming environment and money which the NHS desperately needs is currently being spent on preparations to leave the EU.The number of hard to get medicines has risen 4 fold over the past few months, and people who rely on life saving medicines are increasingly concerned. The NHS is being opened up to privatisation, American companies are queuing up to take on the contracts.
The nation has been misinformed about the effect Brexit will have on the NHS (there is no £350m per week). Your donation, however small, will go some way to right this wrong by making sure people are aware of these issues – and how they can work together to help.
Another goal of our project is to give a voice to doctors, nurses and patients who are impacted by or concerned about these issues
