We're still collecting donations
On the 3rd June 2020 we'd raised £13,565 with 253 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 3rd June 2020 we'd raised £13,565 with 253 supporters in 42 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
The extra money will help us to survive until we can get up and running and welcoming visitors again.
Dear Visitors, Families and Friends of the Railway,
As with many seasonal tourist attractions, the Coronavirus Pandemic has hit us at the worst time possible. We spend our off-season working hard on track and engine maintenance and to ensure all our employees are paid over the winter period. With a continued lockdown and further expected social distancing measures to continue into the summer, Heatherslaw Light Railway, after 30 years as a family business, is expected to collapse.
As a final effort, we are pleading to our loyal customers and friends of the railway for some support in this troubling time. We have set up a Crowdfunding page if anyone would like to donate to save our Railway.
Your support will never ever be forgotten and we hope that this is not the end for Heatherslaw Light Railway.
From Sid, Bernice, Cameron, Darrell, Ben and Christine of the Heatherslaw Light Railway.
We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see Crowdfunder's Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
