Aim

Help Save Plymouth University Fencing Club! The club consists of 50 members, who love to fence for charities, competitions and just for fun

A brief overview of the club

We have approximately 50 members each year, ranging from complete beginners to Nationally and Internationally ranked fencers. We meet up to 3 times a week, and our members this years have fenced representing the university in the BUCS league, national and international level, and also fence for charities.  In addition out of all the Devon universities, this year, we had the most fencers selected to represent the county (5 fencers), at Excalibur in all 3 weapons, consisting of both male and female fencers. This year we have done lots of things to raise money for various charities, from our 24 hour-fence-a-thon to running half marathons, and bake sales.

Unfortunately this time it is us who needs the help!

Why do we need you help?

Rising coaching fees and facilities hire this year means that we are having difficulty paying the remaining balance this year of £1000

Any contributions you can make to our fundraiser will be very much appreciated and will help us to keep our club running and keep us fencing!
