Thanks for taking the time to come and help us in our efforts to secure a return of football at Gigg Lane and the long term future of the illustrious Bury football Club.
The whole footballing community of Bury has had its heart ripped out and has devastated the Borough and brought despair from football fans across all 4 corners of the globe.
After 18 months of tireless work by the supporters trusts volunteers at Forever Bury we have finally been given the opportunity to take control back of Gigg Lane and the football club that have been responsible in producing Global superstars such as Alec Lindsay, Terry McDermott and Colin Bell who is described by some as Manchester City’s greatest ever player who they have a stand named after. There are people who have dedicated their whole lives to Bury FC and members of staff who still continue to work who haven’t been paid for 18 months that must be rewarded.
The harsh reality of modern football is that if just 200,000 football fans didn’t subscribe to Sky’s first PPV T.V game and donated to this cause then it would be enough for the 2 time F.A Cup winners to start playing football again.
Whilst we appreciate the uncertainly of the current climate we find ourselves in we really do appreciate every single donation no matter how small as it really will make a difference and we plan to acknowledge every single person who helps in a commemorative wall at Gigg Lane.
Thank you once again.
