To deliver another brilliant community Christmas event on the Ridgeway, on the 30th of November, as well as finance the light installation!
If this Crowdfunder does not reach its target, Plympton will not have an event this year.

For years, the Christmas lights and the annual Light Switch On event on the Ridgeway have been a cherished tradition for our community. It's a magical moment that brings us all together, from local families and schools to our amazing local businesses and community groups.
This event is more than just lights; it's a huge community celebration that brings thousands of people to the Ridgeway each year. We fill the street with stalls, performers from local schools, and a bustling Christmas market that supports our local traders. It's a fantastic way for everyone to kick off the festive season and celebrate together.
The Challenge We Face
Unfortunately, the costs for this event are rising, and we can't do it alone. The total cost to put on the event and install and maintain the Christmas lights is £10,000. We're working hard to raise this money, and we need your help to reach our goal of £5,000 through this Crowdfunder.
