All or nothing
This project needs 100% of its target
For years this beautiful mill has offered free adult counselling. Last chance to save this special place so it can continue its good work.

For 45 years, Haye Mill has been a place of hope, healing, and dignity — offering completely free, confidential counselling to adults from all walks of life. Hundreds of people have found support here through life’s hardest moments: anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, and more.
At a time when NHS waiting lists can stretch to 18 months and support is limited, Haye Mill remains one of the very few places where anyone can access help without cost, without judgment, and without delay.
Now, this vital service is at risk of closing within just three months.
The reason is simple but urgent. The charity’s founder, who has dedicated his life to creating and sustaining this sanctuary, must retire due to ill health. To support himself, he has no choice but to reclaim a £60,000 loan he made to the charity years ago. Without the funds to repay it, the property will have to be sold — and this irreplaceable service will be lost.
We cannot let that happen.
Haye Mill is more than a counselling centre. Set in a peaceful, natural environment, it offers a rare sense of calm and safety — a place where people feel valued, heard and able to rebuild their lives. Its counsellors are highly trained professionals who give their time freely, many having served for decades.
This is a community built on compassion, generosity, and belief in the power of human connection.
With your help, we can:
- Repay the £60,000 and secure the future of the charity
- Keep counselling free and accessible to all who need it
- Preserve a unique, healing space for future generations
- Grow and expand services to meet increasing demand
- To develop a horticultural project to help finance the future of the charity
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to saving this essential service.
If you’ve ever struggled, or know someone who has, you understand how life-changing the right support can be. Today, you have the chance to ensure that support remains available for others.
Please give what you can — and help keep this lifeline open.
