Hi everyone,

We’re making excellent progress now, both on the Crowdfunding and on some other channels we’re pursuing in parallel.

It’s absolutely brilliant that we far exceeded our match funding goal for the weekend, so we’ll now receive an extra £10K boost from the Arch Stanton Charitable Fund.  

The outcome of our campaign remains very uncertain, but there is a real chance of success ­– we are going to keep pushing!

The closing date is Wednesday of next week, so we’d like to share a little information about how the coming days might pan out.

By the end of this week, we will have a good understanding of where we stand financially overall.  The Crowdfunder money is a vital element in this, but it is not the only element.

Our understanding is that the administrators are unlikely to make a quick decision next week.  Rather, they are likely to take a number of days to assess all the offers they receive. We will all need to wait patiently until they decide.

We’ll share more information about our progress as soon as we can.  In the meantime, we are pressing ahead on all available channels. The strong support we’ve received from each one of you is an absolutely crucial part of developing a solid offer for the Filmhouse building.  THANK YOU.

The better we do on the Crowdfunder, the better our position will be in securing additional funds to complete our offer.  So, if you know anyone who values what Filmhouse does, and who might be able to help out but has not yet done so, then please tell them that this week is the time to do it…!
