Save Filmhouse Cinema

Amazing! Huge thanks to you all for getting the Filmhouse building fund to £85K including Gift Aid in only 4.5 days. Your comments are so encouraging and we will quote them (no names) in our talks with stakeholders.

This cause is so important to Edinburgh. 

Alongside everything else, we must remember that over the last 40 years, hundreds of young people have (usually) found inspiration watching films, gained confidence by finding like minded people, and built experience through working in the Filmhouse / at EIFF; many of them have gone on to work in the film or creative industries. It’s a soft training ground whose loss would be sorely felt.

If you live in Edinburgh, please do lobby your Councillor or other representatives. It CAN make a difference.
