Raising funds for an urgent kidney transplant for Chidubem
Njoku Chidubem Constance is the daughter of Goodness Njoku known affectionately by family and friends as 'Dubem'. While in her final year as a nursing undergraduate, Dubem is battling chronic kidney disease and for over a year she has depended on dialysis. Following the loss of her father, her mother bears the burden of the mounting medical expenses alone. Dubem has now reached a critical condition and is in desperate need of a kidney transplant. The staff at Zenith Medical & Kidney Centre Abuja, Nigeria are working tirelessly to provide the care and treatment that she needs. The procedure will cost £37,000 (approx $50,000 USD), while this seems like a mountain to climb, local friends, family and the Nigerian church community have already raised £12,000! so we have £25,000 remaining.
