Welcome to Camelot Theme Park
Camelot Theme Park was a resort and theme park located in Chorley, Lancashire. The parks theme was the well known legend of camelot, and the park decor incorperated pseudo medieval elements. The site is owned by the story group and was operated by knights leisure. The park boasted many rides, taking a target audience of families and younger children. The theme park was closed in 2012 and now stands abandoned.
Our Aim
Our aim is to lease or purchase the 140 acres of land to restore and finally re-open this historic theme Park. Camelot represents a part of British history, where many have had amazing days out with family and friends. It will take approximately 18 months from start to finish to achieve our goal. We ask for your support to enable us to bring back the famous Camelot Theme Park.
About the project
Camelot Theme Park is a historic landmark in the Northwest of England ... We want to keep it that way! Amazing days out enjoyed by many, also a look back into old English history, made for an interesting venture and attracted new visitors. We want to keep it alive and make it bigger and better than ever before.
The new outlay
The Brand new outlay for the Theme Park will consist of restaurants, Bars, Gift shops, Photo Shops, Arcades, game stalls, Events, Live Shows, Family Rides, Children Rides, Adult Rides, which will be equally spread across the Park.
Our Brand Rides
Currently the Park only has a few rides still left standing after many others was sold at the time of closure in 2012. We will take down the rides that are still standing today and replace them with brand new rides across the park, they consist of :
6x Family rides
9x childrens rides
6x adult Rides (rollercosters)
Historic Museum
Camelot Castle
Education centre
Our Staffing
At the Park we will be opening jobs up to the local residents of Chorley and surrounding areas to come and work for us at a friendly, fun environment with excellent rates of pay.
Our Plans
The Main Plan is to obtain the Park and to take the necessary tasks to acheive this and collect funding and donations to save the Northwest Landmark. Once we have obtained the park, then we can put our plans into action and bring Camelot Theme Park bigger and even better than before.
