Autism Plus look after my brother-in-law Gareth as a full time resident with 24 hour care. They provide an absolutely essential range of services and support to people with autism, learning difficulties and other complex needs.
These past couple of years of COVID restrictions have had a drastic impact on their ability to raise funds whilst simultaneously have caused a massive increase in demand for services.
To try and help, on 27th March I’m going to attempt to run the Sheffield half marathon (which seems to be mostly hills). I’ve come into this having not run for over a year, never more than 10km and mostly on the flat. With only 8 weeks of training it should be a real challenge.
Anything you can contribute towards helping me achieve my target will be massively appreciated.
