Santa Stork: our annual Christmas campaign that delivers gifts and makes memories for local children in need.
Santa Stork 2022, Stripey Stork's annual Christmas campaign, aims to deliver 10,000 brand new, age-appropriate presents to 7,100 children and 2,900 parents/carers this year.
Our experienced team will use our proven Santa Stork model to deliver the campaign. With your support we will ensure gifts are given and memories are made for local children in need.
The impact of the last few years: the pandemic and now the cost-of-living crisis has had a significant impact on the most vulnerable families and those that were just getting by. Our referral partners are finding it increasingly difficult to meet the gaps. The practical items we can support them with can make all the difference to a family being able to pay their ever-increasing bills.
Through Santa Stork, we aim to support vulnerable families at a particularly difficult time of year. The spiraling costs of energy will only increase the pressure on families this Christmas. Therefore, we are anticipating requests for an additional 30% of gifts compared to last year.

Unlike our regular donations, these gifts are new and in some cases will be the main or only present they’ll receive this Christmas. Our aim is to ensure we have enough funds to buy presents for ever child and parent/carer referred to us this Christmas.
We know that the cost-of-living crisis will impact the campaign in multiple ways:
- the increased demand for gifts
- the cost of the project will be higher. We have calculated that if we purchased the same quantity and mix of gifts as last year, they would cost us an additional £8,500 this year.
- in-kind donations are likely to be lower this year. Last year we received a one off large in-kind donation which we are unlikely to receive again this year.
We are also very aware that for you, our supporters, costs have increased and therefore some of you are likely to experience financial difficulties of your own.
If you are able to support us, one of the ways is to make a financial contribution. All funds donated via this page will be used for the Santa Stork 2022 campaign to help us in our mission to ensure that every local child has a present to open on Christmas Day. In the event that there are funds remaining after Christmas 2022 they will be put towards our work supporting local families in 2023.
