To create a sanctuary garden space at the Beechdale Community Centre for all to enjoy and access for wellbeing reasons.
At Diversify Education and Communities CIC, we have a strong focus on celebrating diverse cultures, bringing all communities together.
As an organisation, we strive to raise awareness around mental health and wellbeing by engaging with diverse communities and their residents to nurture a healthy and wholesome social life. Our aim is to foster a safe and secure environment where everyone feels welcomed, we emphasise that it is okay not to be okay. We pride in being able to meet the needs of the community in several ways which includes:
* Food bank
* Community Café
* Community Garden
* Group classes like sewing, beauty, gardening and cooking
* Mental health and wellness trips for community members
* Dad and lads groups
* Sports activities
We are raising money to create a sanctuary and wellbeing garden for all to access.
We are looking to buy raised beds, planters, compost, and other gardening products to create this space.
