Aim
To help raise funds for Basingstoke Bluefins buy new equipment
My name is Sam, and I’m Senior Club Captain for Basingstoke Bluefins Swimming Club.
We are raising money to help develop the Club and purchase new training equipment.
I’ve enjoyed bike riding for most of my life, and during the first lockdown started road bike riding. The furthest I’d ridden, until last month, was 25 miles. For a challenge, and my sponsorship idea, I’ve decided to ride from Basingstoke toWindsor Great Park and back again, a distance of around 75 miles.
I’ll be supported on the day by a relay of Bluefins Masters Swimmers, taking turns to ride with me.
