Take Sameera Bowers' critically-acclaimed debut comedy hour to Brighton Fringe 2026 after sell-out Cambridge & Camden runs.
"What is Going On?" is a debut comedy hour that's already won audiences at Cambridge and Camden Fringe - now we're bringing it to Brighton.
Written and performed by former Cambridge Footlight Sameera Bowers, this is an hour of sharp, absurd comedy about graduating with a Geography and Economics degree and absolutely no idea what comes next. Is it too late to skip to retirement already? And seriously, what exactly is going on?
After sell-out runs and rave reviews, we're taking the show to Rotunda Theatre Brighton: Squeak in May 2026 as part of Brighton Fringe.

Why We're Crowdfunding
Here's the truth: Sameera has been funding her fringe runs out of her own pocket. Cambridge worked. Our short Camden run was a sell-out success that allowed us to connect with audiences, but we barely broke even.
We want to do Brighton right. That means enough performances to build word-of-mouth and the chance to connect with Brighton Fringe's blossoming alternative comedy scene. Your support helps us share the financial burden and gives this show the platform it deserves.
