Story
The short story goes a little like this:
Set in the nearby future in rural Cambodia an old man lives alone in an house made from recycled material: Cans, bottles anything he can find. The house remains unfinished, so one day he goes scavenging for materials.
On his search he his stopped dead in his tracks by a rag tag group of young children. Thinking fast, the old man offers to barter one of his own creative designs; a steel flower made from a recycled materials. This ignites interest in the leader of the group and they agree to finish the rest of his house...
...but in doing so, they create something better than the old man could have ever imagined.

Themes
The core topic is recycling and how we can make do with what we have. It is about re-numeration and the strength of community spirit. but also:

This ties in with the mantra of Coconuts School who have agreed to help us. Coconuts school is made entirely from recycled plastic, bottles, anything recyclable!
Through funding the project we will have a short film to be proud of, it will allow us to make a donation to Coconuts School and also raise awareness on environmental issues within Cambodia.
