We’re raising £10,000 to fence off our second pitch and purchase a new lawnmower, making our facilities safer
Salford City Roosters are a community rugby league club based in Eccles, providing sport and development opportunities for over 280 players from ages 3 to adult. With multiple junior, youth, women’s, and men’s teams, plus strong links to local schools and professional pathways, the Roosters are at the heart of grassroots sport in Salford.
We’re raising money to help us reach our £10,000 target, which will go directly towards improving our facilities for the whole community. Specifically, the funds will help us:
✅ Fence off our second pitch so it can be used more safely and more often.
✅ Purchase a new lawnmower to maintain our pitches, ensuring they’re in the best condition for all our players moving forward.
Every penny we raise will stay with the club and be invested back into our facilities, making a lasting difference for our players, families, and the wider community.

Please donate if you can – every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to securing a better future for the Roosters and the young people who play here.
Thank you for supporting the Roosters! 🐓❤️💛
After the success of our recent campaign, the real work begins. Now, we’re focused on raising £10,000 to truly transform Salford City Roosters for the future. This project isn’t just about improving pitches or buying equipment – it’s about creating a safe, welcoming, and sustainable space for hundreds of children, young people, and families in our community. With your support, we can make lasting changes that will benefit our club for generations to come.
Would you like me to make this sound more emotional and story-driven (focusing on the kids, families, and community impact), or keep it direct and project-focused (highlighting the facilities and improvements)?
