Safehaven Women provides a beautiful space, bespoke support and community for vulnerable women in our city.

by Sara Marsden-King in Brighton, Brighton and Hove, United Kingdom

In these hard times, please help us provide essential WARM SPACE and COMMUNITY to the vulnerable and isolated in our community.

The Hope Centre & Bloom Cafe offers a ‘one-stop shop’, a central hub where vulnerable women can access a range of daily wellbeing activities, specialist support via our sector partners and, in The Bloom Cafe, a familiar and warm place to meet each other or just relax outside of scheduled activities.

"...when my life was in bits having a little creative hands-on activity helped me be more calm and focused, and little by little I could get chatting to people around me.”

“When I spend time in Bloom Café I always feel welcomed and safe.  I am a single mum and I often feel alone but being at Bloom where I meet my other Safehaven mum friends I feel part of a community.”

“The Bloom Cafe & Hope Centre offers a beautiful and welcoming space that has made [key]workers and their clients feel welcomed and valued.“
