Thank you for being here. Our solidarity with Samir's family is of outmost importance to their wellbeing while humanitarian aid is withheld from reaching them by the occupation forces.
Samir is the only breadwinner in his household of 8. His beloved father, and his brother-in-law murdered in recent bombings.
He now is responsible in helping his disabled mother and sister in upbringing his 3 little siblings and niece, along with his baby niece.
Things are awful for them. Their home was bombed to the ground and they have been forcefully displaced 10s of times in the past few months 🖤💔
The latest displacement destroyed their new tent.
Now, they are seeking transport to South Gaza and have nowhere to stay safe.
The scorching tropical summer sun is burning over their heads, while they are prohibited from going in the sea.
Samir has secured a new tent in the South, and will negotiate to pay it off in installments to keep his family safe.
The total amount for it is 1500 dollars!
A literal dram of cold water in a little plastic bag costs 1 dollar!! It's their only way to buy a refreshment, and shower!
A bag of clean flour to bake bread for all to last them a few days costs 800 dollars (at best).
Tin cans and dry food along with fresh produce are amongst their other necessities, which, all need to be bought from the market at equally extortionate prices.
Samir and his family need us. The bombing means he can't get his plumbing job back. They are currently surviving on our donations.
