I wanted to share the email (see below) I've received from Dr Ganbold on behalf of the anaesthesia community in Mongolia. He's so appreciative of the appeal and the effort everyone has made on behalf of Mongolian people. And as he says he will discuss with David Pescod and others to decide the best way to spend the money already raised. Truth is we've still got a way to go in order to get either 2 portable machines or one big one. And a long way to go if we are reaching our target or indeed taking it further. So we will still be fund-raising via SafeAnaesthesiaWorldWide and https://secure.thebiggive.org.uk/projects/view/26739. And aiming to have another go at Crowdfunder later this year, perhaps - as Dr Ganbold suggests -on the back of video showing the impact of the machines already donated. Thanks so much for your support and wonderful messages that have meant so much here and in Mongolia.
best wishes to all,
Jane Feinmann
> Dear Jane,
I learned many things from you and proud about the project initiated. It raised great amount of money and very big contribution in Safe Anaesthesia in Mongolia (SAM).
> Thanks for Dr. David for filming and interviewed, we were planned but still promise for the next one for showing the outcome.
> I hope with contribution and dedication of all members of SAM project and MSA members, will distribute the machines in appropriate places and trained and well used!.
> I hope also we will discuss (with David and other stakeholders) which machine can bought by raised fund (most easy task!).
> Thanks Jane for you tremendous effort and dedication for rural or global SAM, you are actually the godmother of SAM!
> With you all the bests and successes i your projects,
