Aim

Our Summer Showcase aims to be a celebration and sharing of everything our young people have achieved in our Music and Drama workshops!

About The Regal Youth Company

Set up in 2015, RYC is a voluntary group of young people with a shared creative and collaborative vision for arts and young people in West Lothian. Since we first came together, we have provided drama, music and film weekly workshops for young people. We have also created loads of performance opportunities such as creating original drama performances like Project 404 which toured to the National Festival of Youth Theatre in 2017, and gig and concert style music performances across various West Lothian venues.

We are unique in that:

- our activities are exclusively created, planned and delivered by young people for young people.

- we promote creativity, confidence building, social experiences and leadership skills through arts practices which both our members and leaders gain from.

- we provide opportunities to connect with our local area.

About Summer Showcase

We need your help!
As we are a group of volunteers, we need the help of those who support youth arts to continue to provide quality performance experiences for our young people.

Our crowdfunder campaign aims to raise money for our end of term performances from all of our workshop streams.

The money we raise will go towards venue hire and technical support, which will provide us with a true theatre stage experience for our drama performances, and a full band experience with sound tech support for our music concert.
