Aim
Rural Refugee Network is a charity taking practical locally-based action to help resettle displaced Syrian families in our communities.
Rural Refugee Network (RRN) was set up to help expedite the safe transfer of families from refugee camps on the Syrian border to the UK. And once safely in the UK, RRN works with local organisations and volunteers to support the families' needs.
Monies raised for this project are used to help with resettlement and integration needs for those relocated to the UK. For example: furniture, clothing, transport, translators and counselling services.
Currently 12 million people are displaced due to the war in Syria. This is the single largest humanitarian crisis on the planet.
