Creating a safe, supportive space for the youth to improve their health, confidence and connection through running and mentoring.
We’re a grassroots community group based in London, supporting men, especially from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds - through running, mentoring and workshops. We provide a safe space for men to connect, improve their health, build confidence and access positive role models. Our focus is on brotherhood, wellbeing and long-term impact.

We’re crowdfunding because we’ve grown massively over the last 18 months, and much of our work has been self-funded by our small committee. From youth giveaways and shared meals to celebrate fitness milestones, to hiring venues for workshops — every project has come from our own pockets. We've already impacted over 500 men across London, and with your support, we know we can do even more.
If you're applying for extra funding, this is a good place to demonstrate why your project is eligible so refer back to the criteria to help complete this section

Every pound will go directly into supporting and expanding our community work. Funding will help us:
Provide running gear and wellness packs for men who need them
Pay for young people to take part in official running events and races
Cover the cost of healthy meals to celebrate fitness milestones
Hire venues for workshops, mental health sessions and mentoring events
Support youth giveaways and local outreach
Cover travel, materials and logistics to keep sessions consistent and accessible

Running With the Brothers exists to support men, particularly from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, who often face barriers to accessing health, connection and community spaces. Through running, mentoring, workshops and shared experiences, we’ve created a supportive environment where over 500 individuals across London have found belonging, motivation and growth.
But the impact goes beyond fitness — our sessions reduce isolation, improve mental wellbeing, and give younger men access to role models and a positive peer network. From youth giveaways to safe spaces for discussion, our work helps to break cycles of disconnection and creates lasting change in people’s lives.
Our venues are more than just meeting points — they become spaces of learning, healing and celebration. With the right support, we can grow this impact and make it accessible to even more communities across the city.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
