Aim

I'm raising money to help those bereaved by Covid to get the answers they deserve and for all of us to learn lessons and save lives.

Like so many others, I lost my Dad to Covid at the start of the pandemic. By chance, I met Jo Goodman, who had lost her Dad at the same time and together we started on the long path towards justice.

It has been an arduous journey, taken at a time where we have been dominated by grief. We have watched as decisions made cost more lives. We have read the news of the parties and hypocrisy. We have stood in support and understanding as more bereaved people have joined us mourning their own losses and we have resolved to march onwards to get answers and enact positive change.

There is nothing I can do to bring my Dad back, but if my efforts save even one life, then I'm obligated to give it my all. That one life could be someone's whole world.

To that end, my long path is going to take on a vertical element. I'm going to climb the Kinder Scout, the highest mounting in  Derbyshire on the 19th of November.

The work we do now can save countless lives in the future, not just from Covid but from any similar world crisis whether it's tomorrow, in ten years or a hundred years time. We have the drive to make those changes happen even if we have to fight for them every step of the way.

I hope you can help to keep our campaign going. Your donations help to pay for the ongoing operation of the campaign and the dedicated work we do ensuring the loved ones we lost get a voice in the Covid Inquiry.

With your help, we can learn lessons from the past to save lives in the future.
