Running the South London Half Marathon March 2027

Aim

The 19th Wimbledon Scout Group is raising funds for our Phoenix 3 project to rebuild our Explorer Scout hut and garage stores.

I am training for my first ever half marathon and to spur me on I am hoping to raise funds for our newest project to improve our site. Phoenix 3 is an exciting new project to replace our ageing Explorer Hut and Garage Stores, with a new building integrated into the Phoenix 2 development completed in 2014. In addition, the existing Garage Stores will be replaced with a purpose-built standalone storage facility. 

Scouting  gives children a fantastic opportunity to learn life skills, gain confidence and meet new people. In order to benefit the current cohort of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers, and those of the future, and to support the growing number of community groups that use the site regularly - we want to make Phoenix 3 a space to complete our site.
