Running the Robin Hood Half Marathon in Nottingham

I am raising money for a charitable cause that is very important to me so please donate and help me reach my target in aid of Alzheimer's Research UK. 

Learning about my mum's dementia diagnosis three years ago was one of the worst moments in life. To see one of the people closest to you slowly lose a part of themselves bit by bit, day by day, whilst you are helpless to stop this is, knowing it is one of the few diseases we have no way of stopping at the moment a sickening feeling that is indescribable. It has made me determinded to do whatever I can to ensure other families in he future won't have to feel this slow lose of a loved one and to know that, should they be told they themselves or a loved on have dementia, that it is not an inescapable feeling that nothing can be done. Rather that there is hope from the work done by Alzheimer's Research and there is at least a chance to avoid the worst.
