In a few weeks, I’ll be running the Hackney Half for the People’s Recovery Project.
Ed started The People’s Recovery Project after working in homeless shelters and finding himself disappointed and frustrated at the limited opportunities individuals have to access therapeutic treatment required to address their drug use. Addiction is often a barrier to moving away from the streets and building sustained recovery.
The People’s Project aims to provide access to detox and rehab for people experiencing homelessness and addiction.
