Running for Hope

Aim
Hope Community Village in Kerala, south west India provides a loving and stable environment for at risk children.
I am running the Great North Run this year and in 2024 I was placed 18th in the Ladies over 70. I will be 78 this year.
I have visited Hope many times and it is a privilege to be able to support them. The charity was founded by a local Halifax businessman in 1990. Since then, the village has supported hundreds of children, helping them to achieve their ambitions, providing a home, education and a family.
